I’m glad you had the implants removed and I’m really grateful you were brave enough to share your story. Many people should learn a lesson from it. Thank you.

    LaTerra,

I first researched the idea of permanent eye colour change around 5-6 years ago while I was in college on a whim, being sick of my brown prescription lenses. I was speaking to someone about it yesterday, and told them I thought it was a really cool invention, because I honestly thought it is something that would be helpful for ocular/oculocutaneous albinism, and if you have the money, could give you the change you desire until I saw your videos. I’m saddened to find out that this product appears to have value only to those who wish to harm themselves.

I understand why you would do such a procedure, that desperation for a change and bargaining with yourself. I have been overweight for much of my life. A few summers ago, I decided to take a prescribed stimulant to help me lose weight. I went from 231 lbs (I’m 5’7″) to 193 lbs in 4 months. After I stopped taking the stimulant, my relationship with food took a turn for the worst.

Because I’d spend 4 months not being full or eating very little, I hated that full feeling that is comfort to everyone. Not being able to control my hunger without suppressants, I began binging an purging. It has been 3 summers since, and I weigh 107 lbs. I don’t think I’m thin enough, and I do feel sick that I have gain 4 lbs 9 oz since October of last year. I think I’ve turned into monster and am uncomfortable with myself.

Though our situations are different, they have common roots. You could recognise when something was wrong with you and when enough is enough. Patience is the resolution to most of our problems. You are beautiful, and I’m glad you shared your story. I will tell my friend that there is more to the permanent change in eye colour that I thought. What you have done will take more from that man than he took from you, and even if you never feel that way, you’re a heroine to many, which is an invaluable position.

I’m going to do the surgery in Turkey with Dr Ayhan. The implants are BrightOcular. I saw many videos on the subjet and many of them are good. Can you tell me where you have done sur surgery and what is the doctor’s name. Thank you to answer me.

    Laterra,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am the type of person that despite hearing negative things would still go and do something and think that consequences would not happen to me. I now see that eyesight is so precious and will just stick with my contact lenses. I almost got an appointment with new color iris but canceled. You saved my vision. Thank you so much and stay blessed. I appreciate you and wish you the best in life!

  • Anthony says:

There is no such thing as newcoloriris implants. Seemed that was just some medical tourism marketing company that no longer exists. The dangerous implans are called newiris.com made by Kahn Medical in Panama. Dr Delary Albeto Kahn.
The BO implants so seem to appear safer but time will tell.
    Technology is always improving.
